Structured Coaching

As an affiliate of Sky Volleyball, Sky High is led by a respected local Head Coach and backed by the infrastructure of Volleyball Calgary, ensuring athletes receive top-tier instruction, support, and competition opportunities.

We are proud to offer competitive teams for both girls and boys, with a strong focus on skill development, teamwork, and building athletes who thrive on and off the court.

Team Selection & Tryouts

Sky High Volleyball Club will be offering Open Gyms in the late summer and fall. These are great opportunities to meet coaches and athletes. All Sky High teams will then be finalized at tryouts held in early December.

Athletes will be evaluated based on skills, game IQ, work ethic, and team dynamics. We aim to build rosters that align with our developmental philosophy.

Meet Our Coaches

Sky High is built around a local Head Coach with a strong reputation in the volleyball community. All affiliate coaches receive training and mentorship through Volleyball Calgary, ensuring program consistency, technical integrity, and alignment with Sky Volleyball's national standards.

Training

Training & Practice Structure

Each Sky High team will follow a structured practice schedule, with frequency and intensity increasing by age and level. Our programs emphasize technical repetition, tactical understanding, and competitive team culture.
